Luby's is the only cafeteria remaining in the Houston area, probably because they were so much better. Luby's continues to improve in food quality, presentation and dining experience. I've been to several Luby's but this is one the best. If you've not been to a cafeteria recently i recommend you try them.

4/2/19, i picked up my to go order at Luby's Post Oak. The food quality is usually not bad, and the staff is usually courteous. On this occasion, the food was inedible. I immediately returned the uneaten food, and requested a refund to my credit card. The manager refused to refund my card and suggested i call the corporate office. I immediately left the food, and called corporate as i was instructed for a refund of my $7.57, and was told i would receive a gift card as reimbursement for the uneaten food. That was 4/2/19. Since them, I have spoken to 6 people in corporate who said my gift card was in the mail. 5/2/19, i spoke with Star, who promised to resolve this issue, and gave me inquiry #116546. Again, after receiving nothing, 5/23/19, I spoke with Patrick, who told me it's in the mail. To date, 6/3/19, I have received nothing. They have my money and the food. The way i was treated is unacceptable.

The overall customer service was the best EVER, attentive, helpful and great energy. Unfortunately several sides were cold and the liver was a bit dry. The good news is once the dissatisfaction was shared with the wait staff, alternate options were made. Outstanding experience.

I love Luby´s! It brings so many childhood memories. It is my comfort food. I loved this location, staff very friendly, and I even think that the portions were bigger from other Luby´s. Love it!!

It's a bigger Luby's than the other locations with plenty of seating especially during lunch time. Speaking of, I went to during lunch on a time crunch, but fortunately the line moved quickly and plenty of variety of food options. Big parking lot as well. Friendly staff!
